Advice on buying baby toiletries
A baby's skin is very vulnerable. Avoid strongly perfumed baby bubble baths, shampoos and oils in the first few weeks as your baby's skin may react.
There are plenty of gentle skincare ranges which are aimed at your baby's delicate skin. Some have natural essential oils, others contain milk proteins or vitamin E, others mild flower and plant extracts.
Eczema often appears by six months. Skin dries out and begins chaffing. Emulsifying ointment or cream instantly sooths, but remember not to use soap as well. |
